As someone who’s lived abroad and traveled extensively, I know firsthand how challenging it is to maintain a consistent practice when your location and schedule are constantly changing.

We’ll develop contingency plans! If you’re worried about this, I can provide recorded short sequences specifically for your travel needs that can be downloaded in advance.

“My available space changes constantly. Can yoga work in limited areas?”
Yes! I specialize in adapting practices to whatever space you have—from spacious living rooms to narrow hotel room floors. You’ll be amazed what we can accomplish in just a few square feet. (Just ask me where all I’ve made it work for me haha).

Besides my credentials, you need to know my candid personality…

My primary principles when working with clients:

  • Your body structure is unique and most certainly influences your range of motion and movement abilities. (Ex: personally, my “knock knees” decrease my range of motion for external hip rotation)
  • Be patient and build strong foundational blocks. Our body does not change to meet your instant gratification desires.
  • Food is fuel, not failure. Diets are stupid. Build a lifestyle that lasts.
  • Sometimes motivation comes from a place of pain. I’ve been there too. Ideally it transforms to stemming from appreciation.
  • Cardio and weight lifting are not going to last without mobility and flexibility training.
  • Life is hard.  Everyone has a body.  And we’re just trying to figure out how to best take care of it.
  • It’s never too late to start so aim for a small effort today. Tomorrow never comes.

When not on the mat, you’ll find me teaching group fitness classes in Sofia, Bulgaria; hiking in new countries, or writing about my adventures in my travel fitness blog and newsletter.
